Met Star Patricia Racette to Release DIVA ON DETOUR, Jan 2013

GPRrecords has just released Patricia Racette's "Diva on Detour." The Metropolitan Opera's reigning Butterfly and Tosca returns to her roots with this CD, recorded live.

Metropolitan Opera star Patricia Racette began singing in cabarets and is now bringing her career full circle. This live recording of her intimate evening of songs by Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and Edith Piaf is a treat for all music and theatre lovers. This opera diva’s voice and astounding stage presence are lovingly captured on her first live CD recorded in concert at the GPR/Sound Associate Studios.
